We still have snow here in Munich - not as much as in Helsinki, but definitely still worth mentioning. I took this shot from our kitchen. The photo shows a neighboring apartment block with a cute, little playground in front of it. Honestly, I haven't really seen kids play in this playground. Perhaps they prefer the bigger toys in the park behind.

I am still coughing and was in fact coughing pretty badly in Helsinki. So, I decided to see the doctor today. He said that I had a viral infection but he still prescribed antibiotics because I have a business trip next week. He is hoping that I will recover faster with the help of some of these babies.

I'm in Helsinki on business for three days. This is a shot of my hotel room. It's still damn cold and there's lots of snow here in Helsinki this year. Apparently, they've had the most snow this year in the last 40 years.

I took this shot in the park outside our apartment. I found this tree with its many and elaborate branches rather interesting. In fact, it creates an interesting design against the background. I increased the contrast and saturation in post-processing.

The weather was relatively warm today and the snow had mostly melted away. This is a photo of a playground just outside our apartment. In post-processing, I increased the contrast and saturation  to bring out the objects more.

Honestly, I've no idea what this is called. It's basically what I use to slide my feet into my boots. I find this shot kind of neat because of the extremely small depth of field. It makes this thing look like a sword - well, almost.

I was still pretty sick today but the weather was so fine that I had to go out and take my shot of the day. This was taken in a nearby park. As you can see, the snow had all melted away and the weather was spring-like.

The bark, branches and twigs created an interesting pattern against the blue sky.
