anyway. Because the maximum aperture at this focal length was f5.6, I had to make sure the flower was pretty far off from the background to get some bokeh.Macro photography is indeed interesting and I would love to delve into it more. However, before investing in new equipment, I'll try it out with what I have.

You did a wonderful job with this one. The lighting is wonderful, as is the focus.
I, too, have difficulty with macros. A macro lens is on my wishlist though. ;)
Thanks, Kyla. Macro shots with messy backgrounds such as this would best be taken with a colored piece of paper as the background. I need to visit the stationery shop soon!
