Day #152 @ Photography Project 365

We visited the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. This is a photo of the Ardabil Carpet, the oldest dated carpet in the world. It was completed between 1539 and 1540. It's completely enclosed in a glass room where humidity and light is controlled to ensure that the colors are preserved

Thanks for the history. I'm sure you're not allowed to walk on it, do you? Or is its lying under a glass plate?

JJS this is an amazing shot! I love that this carpet is so old and I think that it would look better in my home then in Rick's! lol Just kidding Rick, I'd be scared to step on it! :-)

Sounds like we're having an auction here! :-) I think you guys will have to fight Queen E for that!

The Queen's no problem JJS, it's her body guards that concern me... hey Rick are you up to tackling a few body guards? :-)

Not a problem at all! I'll bring my dog Sasha - she'll lick them to death! ;-)

How about we each have it for 6 months of the year!
