It's freezing outside! Nonetheless, I wanted to take a shot outdoors today. As soon as I got back from work, I picked up my camera gear (including my tripod) and walked just across the street to take some photos. I've always loved photos with light trails in them and I thought I'd give it a shot today. I think it turned out pretty well. If it wasn't so damn cold, I'd have probably spent a little more time refining the composition. But for today, this will have to do.

I made black pepper beef for dinner today. It didn't turn out as well as I would have wanted it to though. The beef was extremely tough. It must have been a really old cow!

This is my first attempt at light painting. Well, "my first attempt" may not actually be appropriate here since my wife was actually the one who did the painting. I simply set up my tripod, mounted my camera, took the shot and waited for 30 seconds. I think it's a really fun and interesting form of photography though. I'm looking forward to doing more of this in the future.
