Day #6 @ Photography Project 365

Camera: Nikon D60 (model replaced by Nikon D3000)
Lens: Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX
Flash: N/A
Tripod: Slik Pro 400DX
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 30 sec
Aperture: f8

This is my first attempt at light painting. Well, "my first attempt" may not actually be appropriate here since my wife was actually the one who did the painting. I simply set up my tripod, mounted my camera, took the shot and waited for 30 seconds. I think it's a really fun and interesting form of photography though. I'm looking forward to doing more of this in the future.

Beat me, but I'm not sure if that is light or a text on glass.

Well done!

You should try it out. It's indeed a fun form of photography. Of course, there are many more elaborate and sophisticated samples on the Web that you had better use as inspiration.
