This is my first attempt at light painting. Well, "my first attempt" may not actually be appropriate here since my wife was actually the one who did the painting. I simply set up my tripod, mounted my camera, took the shot and waited for 30 seconds. I think it's a really fun and interesting form of photography though. I'm looking forward to doing more of this in the future.

You should try it out. It's indeed a fun form of photography. Of course, there are many more elaborate and sophisticated samples on the Web that you had better use as inspiration.
